Tucked at the foot of Croix-Rousse, near Les Terreaux, lies a hidden gem. This 110-square-meter space, with its Empire II frescoes on the ceiling and cast-iron columns, immediately captivated my two American clients. They were charmed by the history and unique character of this Renaissance apartment, which subtly blends the past and present.
Their request was clear: restructure the spaces to create a comfortable pied-à-terre in Lyon, suitable for their stays and those of their daughter. We undertook a complete renovation, transforming the formal living room into a spacious, bright, and inviting living-kitchen area while preserving the elegance of the period frescoes.

The chosen materials, such as lime and zellige tiles, infuse the space with artisanal warmth. The style, a balance between Japandi and Provençal, creates a soft and welcoming atmosphere. The idea was to bring out all the historical charm of this apartment, providing our clients with a space where they feel at home while being immersed in the soul of the city.
This renovation is an ode to timeless elegance. Every detail was thought out to tell a unique story, promising an unforgettable experience for my clients in the heart of the City of Lights.
